Mom or Momma Acee is the mother of the main Character Ruby Acee.
Background[]
Mom has ideas and opinions and couldn't change them if she tried. She goes to bed before the sun goes down and gets up before the sun comes up. It is literally impossible to beat her to the kitchen in the morning without factoring in quantum entanglement.
Her daughter Rose has recently moved back in after having lost her job at the law firm in the Big City. Mom doesn't like to see Ruby sad but at the same time she's happy to have her home. When the letter arrives with the Coffeebottom will she is thrilled and can't wait to tell all of her friends and rub it in with her distant relatives.
